The Southern California Chapter of ADEC is committed to:

1.  Enhancing the quality of death education and death-related counseling throughout Southern California.

2.  Promoting the interchange and development of clinical practices, research and related theory.

3.  Providing support, stimulation and encouragement to professionals in the field of death, dying and bereavement.

4.  Conducting death education and death-related counseling workshops and symposiums.

5.  Educating and promoting sensitivity and cultural diversity in death education and death-related counseling.
