Chapter News The Association for Death Education and Counseling (ADEC) has voted to discontinue having chapters as part of their organization. ADEC So Cal wishes to thank everyone for being a part of this fantastic journey that we've all enjoyed over the last few years! 1. Enhancing the quality of death education and death-related counseling throughout Southern California.
2. Promoting the interchange and development of clinical practices, research and related theory.
3. Providing support, stimulation and encouragement to professionals in the field of death, dying and bereavement.
4. Conducting death education and death-related counseling workshops and symposiums.
5. Educating and promoting sensitivity and cultural diversity in death education and death-related counseling.
